To be matched with a scholar in Summer 2026, please submit your application by May 30th, 2026.
If you apply after the deadline, don’t worry, you’ll be added to the pool for next year’s class! In the meantime, you’ll receive monthly newsletters, volunteer opportunities (like panels, scholar workshops, and networking events), and stay connected with our community.

Each year, Oakland Promise supports the post-secondary journeys of hundreds of Oakland students. As part of this commitment, our College Completion Program matches students with volunteer mentors to help guide them through their first two years of college.
