Pratt Street Market Vendor Application

Hey Baltimore Businesses, Downtown Partnership invites you to apply and join Pratt Street Market as a vendor for the 2024 season.

The Pratt Street Market provides Downtown Baltimore residents, employees, and visitors access to prepared lunch options, products from local makers, and locally farmed agricultural goods on a weekly basis. This year, the market will return to Pratt & Light Street Plaza (corner of Pratt and Light Streets), and will occur on Thursdays from 11 am – 2 pm, running May – September beginning May 2, 2024.

If you are a local vendor and are interested in participating, please take a few minutes to answer the questions on the application linked below. We ask that applications be completed no later than Monday, April 8, 2024. Upon application completion, a representative of Downtown Partnership will be in touch with you as soon as possible to discuss the next steps.

Application Agreement

1. The Pratt Street Farmers Market, produced by Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, will take place every Thursday, May 2, 2024 - September 26, 2024 from 11AM - 2PM. The market will be held on Pratt & Light Plaza, located at the NW corner of Pratt & Light Streets, in the center of Downtown Baltimore. 
 
2. The selection of vendors for this market is at the sole discretion of Downtown Partnership of Baltimore. Weekly vendor spot is not guaranteed. Downtown Partnership staff will work to draft a comprehensive vendor schedule to best rotate variety of options.
 
3. Food vendors must submit a copy of their Baltimore City health permit or MD Producer Mobile Farmers Market License below. Proper health department permits are at the expense of the individual vendor. Anyone serving prepared food and/or drinks is required to have a temporary hand-washing station on-site. A gallon jug of water, hand soap and paper towels constitute as a temporary hand-washing station.
 
4. All vendors must carry insurance and submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance naming Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, Downtown Management Authority, and the Downtown Partnership Foundation as additionally insured. Vendors will not be assigned a spot or listed in marketing until this is submitted. If you need assistance in the matter, DPOB can connect you with options for obtaining event insurance.

5.  Application fee waived for outreach, agricultural, and craft vendors. 
 
6. Vendors must arrive on-time and be set up to sell by 10:45 am. Vehicles must be removed from the plaza prior to the start of the market. Vendors must stop selling at 2 pm. Refusal to abide by these rules may result in removal from the market. 
 
7. Community Outreach/Artisans tent provided by DPOB. One 10X10 tent and one 6ft table will be provided if you need more please contact POC at DPOB to seek availability.
 
Photo & Video Release Agreement

I hereby grant Downtown Partnership of Baltimore permission to use my likeness in a photograph or video in any and all of its publications, including website entries and advertisements, without payment or any other consideration. I understand and agree that these materials will become the property of Downtown Partnership of Baltimore and will not be returned. I hereby irrevocably authorize the Downtown Partnership to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish or distribute all photos and videos for purposes of publicizing the of Downtown Partnership of Baltimore’s marketing programs or for any other lawful purpose.
Indemnification Agreement

Indemnification by Vendor
The Vendor hereby indemnifies and agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, the Downtown Management Authority, the Downtown Partnership Foundation, City of Baltimore, their respective agents, employees, representatives, officers, directors, partners, affiliates, successors and assigns from and against all costs, liabilities, fines, claims, damages, losses, judgments and expenses arising out of or from (i) any failure of The Vendor to comply with the terms, conditions, or covenants of this Agreement, (ii) any allegations of copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property violations related to its work hereunder, or (iii) any negligence or willful misconduct of The Vendor or its agents, employees or representatives in connection with services provided under this Agreement, except to the extent any of the same results from the negligence or willful misconduct of Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, the Downtown Management Authority, or the Downtown Partnership Foundation.
 
Indemnification by Downtown Partnership of Baltimore
Downtown Partnership of Baltimore hereby indemnifies and agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Vendor, its respective agents, employees, representatives, officers, directors, partners, affiliates, successors and assigns from and against all costs, liabilities, fines, claims, damages, losses, judgments and expenses arising out of or from (i) any failure of Downtown Partnership of Baltimore to comply with the terms, conditions, or covenants of this Agreement, or (ii) any negligence or willful misconduct of Downtown Partnership of Baltimore or its agents, employees or representatives in connection with services provided under this Agreement, except to the extent any of the same results from the negligence or willful misconduct of vendor.


Proof of Insurance - Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, Downtown Management Authority, and the Downtown Partnership Foundation must be named as Additional Insureds on General Liability coverage.

Additional Permits - Provide a copy of food truck permit, restaurant license, catering license, etc.
