Our Zero-Waste Mobile Art Cafe Activation Agreement is slightly boring and official-like, but it is important to clearly understand how we will work together for the success of your event and community. ABOUT
The Zero Waste Mobile Art Cafe is a leave-no-trace solar-powered mobile popup activation providing a sustainable creative outlet with climate-ready and waste-reduction programming in communities using art, science, and games. Intended to accelerate creativity, creative thinking, environmental education, and community vitality for all.

The Zero Waste Mobile Art Café is an upcycled horse trailer that pops up with 10 bright tables and 20 chairs, for a picturesque bistro café experience that serves art and a sustainability education game- 'The Recycle Challenge'. Attendees can paint a framed canvas or a reusable canvas tote bag after they play the Recycle Challenge Game (English and Spanish) - Not a requirement but a bonus for sustainability and waste reduction education.

Atrium 916 is a Creative Innovation Center for Sustainability, on a mission to build a kind, creative, and sustainable future for all. We engineer with the community and for the community, impactful systems, logistics, artistic educational activations and installations, place-making revitalizations, and creative solutions that build a sustainable and inclusive circular economy.

INSURANCE COVERAGE
The Zero Waste Mobile Art Café as part of Atrium 916 carries its own Certificate of Insurance for the mobile art cafe and staff. Event holders must have permission, permits, and proper insurance coverage for their event and location.

I understand the liability requirements and have all the necessary permits and insurance requirements to hold and manage this event.

PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE

Atrium guarantees to execute the Zero Waste Mobile Activation to the highest standards, staffed with a minimum of two leading artists who adhere to our core principles of kindness, creativity, and sustainability.

The ZeroWaste Mobile Art Cafe comes fully equipped with all necessary resources, including water, solar power electricity, paint, and materials. It requires nothing but space from the event organizer and leaves art, not waste upon completion of the event.

The ZeroWaste Mobile Art Cafe is a trailer towed by a vehicle. The Client must ensure appropriate access to the event location for the Zero Waste Mobile Art Café to be setup. This includes providing necessary permissions and clear instructions for parking and positioning of the mobile unit.

CANCELATION AND REFUND POLICY

If in the unlikely event, the Zero Waste Mobile Art Café is unable to attend the event or perform adequately due to any reason, a full refund will be offered to the client.

Bookings for our activation are typically made months in advance. Cancellations by the Client must be made with sufficient notice:
Cancellations made with more than 45 days' notice from the event date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 21 days and 45 days notice of the event will receive a 50% refund. If the cancellation occurs under 21 days' notice of the event date, no refund will be offered.

PAYMENT
The Zero Waste Mobile Art Café is an educational activation designed to foster creativity, environmental education, and community engagement. We invoice for payment ahead of time to secure the date.

I understand that once the invoice is paid in full, the agreement will be honored, and the date will be officially booked.

GRANT FUNDING OPTION

In certain cases, grant funds secured by Atrium 916 may cover the costs of the activation, subject to meeting grant criteria. If you would like to be considered for this please mark in the notes above how this event serves an underserved community and how our activity would bring benefit.

WEATHER CONTINGENCY PLAN
In the event of adverse weather conditions (e.g., heavy rain, strong winds), both parties will work together to determine a suitable contingency plan. This may include rescheduling the event to an alternative date or relocating the activation to an indoor venue, if available.

HEALTH AND SAFETY:
The Client agrees to comply with all relevant health and safety regulations applicable to the event location. This includes ensuring adequate provisions for crowd control, emergency exits, and first aid facilities.

MARKETING & PROMOTION
Both parties may collaborate on marketing and promotion efforts for the event. The Client agrees to credit the Atrium in regards to the Zero Waste Mobile Art Café in promotional materials and communications related to the activation.

FEEDBACK
The Client agrees to provide feedback on the activation experience, which may include testimonials, photos, or videos for promotional purposes. This feedback will be used solely to improve future activations and may be shared.

INDEMNIFICATION
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Zero Waste Mobile Art Café, Atrium 916, and their respective representatives, from and against any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to the event, except to the extent caused by the negligence or willful misconduct of the Zero Waste Mobile Art Café.
