ROOTS believes that grant writing should not be a barrier to artists accessing funding. We offer members several different supports during the proposal development process, including Conversations of Intent, Proposal Coaching, and Proposal Assistance Calls.
During a Conversation of Intent, you’ll talk through your proposed project with a staff member, to help ensure your project is aligned with the program. First-time applicants MUST schedule a Conversation of Intent. All other applicants are welcome to make use of this resource as well.
For the Spring 2024 Professional Development round, Conversations of Intent can be requested until 5 pm ET on Friday, April 19th. To schedule one, please submit a request using this form.
