This year we are opening up our programming to our community. This is your chance to have a say in what topics are platformed at the festival in October 2024.
This is an opportunity to propose to the Wildscreen team and Festival Advisory Board, a session addressing a topic or showcasing work that hasn't yet been done, or could be done in a new and innovative way.
Submitted proposals will be selected by the Festival Advisory Board, made up of a diverse group of industry professionals from around the world.
There are two slots in the Festival programme available for community-driven content.
We ask that proposals are well-thought through, and that you highlight the importance of this topic, the take-aways the audience will have, and the impact you hope the session to have on the festival, audience and community as a whole. We're sure you are amazingly talented but please make sure the content is not self-congratulatory!
Please can you ensure that all suggested speakers are those that you have links or contacts with (we would all love Sir David Attenborough to be a part of our sessions, but that's not realistic)! If your proposal is successful, you will be approached to help produce the session so direct contacts are a must to ensure the success of your session in the programme. You may also provide reserve speaker suggestions if the initial ideal line-up is not available.
Please note, we aim to provide a diverse and representative programme of content at the festival, to ensure representation is met across all corners of our industry, so please take this into consideration when writing your proposal.
