ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

An artist submitting art pieces to the 2024 MS Plus Art Show agrees to the conditions of entry specified below. ‘Artist’ means you, the person submitting artwork (paintings, crafts, illustration, photography and/or sculpture) for the 2024 MS Plus Art Show.

  • All the information supplied is true and correct.
  • The 2024 MS Plus Art Show is open not only to people living with MS and other progressive neurological conditions, but also family and carers of people living with multiple sclerosis and other neurological condition.
  • People must register with MS Plus to take part in the 2024 MS Plus Art Show .
  • Artists can enter up to 3 artwork pieces to be displayed on a dedicated webpage on www.msplus.org.au. How and when the art will be displayed will be determined by the Art Show team at MS Plus.
  • The artist agrees to be solely responsible for any false or misleading information submitted to MS Plus and will indemnify MS Plus against any losses in the event of any action taken by a third party because of such behaviour.
  • The artist grants a licence to MS Plus to reproduce any works and share information about the artwork and artist’s story for the purposes of current and future exhibitions, marketing or fundraising material.
  • If awarded as one of the winners at the 2024 MS Plus Art Show, artist agrees to have their name published on the MS Plus website, consents to MS Plus utilising their story and artwork for marketing and promotional purposes and agrees to be contacted by the marketing department for further discussion.
  • MS Plus reserves the right in its absolute and sole discretion to reject any artworks that it considers to be not appropriate.
  • MS Plus will select the judging panel. MS Plus’ decisions about the Art Show display and awards shall be final.
  • The awards comprise:
    • The Barry Allen Art Award ($350 prize) – first prize winner of Virtual Art Show
    • Highly Commended – Paintings/Illustrations ($100 prize)
    • Highly Commended – Sculptural/Craft Artwork ($100 prize)
    • Highly Commended – Photographic Artwork ($100 prize)
    • Carers Award – ($100 prize)
  • MS Plus takes no responsibility for any error, misleading description, omission or other defect in the production or publication of marketing and promotional material.
  • Photos of art pieces should be submitted between 1 April and 13 May 2024
  • Award winners will be announced on World MS Day on Thursday 30 May 2024.
