Teamworking at FutureReady!

FutureReady is a programme that aims to help youth from challenging backgrounds thrive in today’s competitive graduate job market. A joint collaboration between Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman and Accenture Malaysia, FutureReady 4.0 is where you will get the chance to upskill yourself from ground zero in key areas vital to success in your future.

Launching in July 2024, FutureReady is a 3-month residential programme where you will undergo 3 fully-funded Conferences in Kuala Lumpur with access to specialised content, hands-on workshops, skills mentorship and case studies in teams of 4 participants from various states, universities and areas of study. At the end of the programme, you will undergo a final case study challenge, after which you will pitch your final solution to a panel of esteemed judges.

Upon graduating from the FutureReady programme, high-potential participants will gain access to potential future opportunities with Accenture Malaysia and Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman.

What we look for in applicants:
  1. Student Profile
    We prioritise applicants who:
      • Have a household income of RM5,250 per month or less.
      • Are Malaysian full-time undergraduate students from local public or private universities recognised by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and Ministry of Education (MOE).
        (Priority will be given to unemployed graduates and penultimate/final-year students.)
      • Are students from any course except Medicine (MBBS), Dentistry and Pharmacy.
      • Have a CGPA of 3.0 and above.
  2. Language Proficiency
      1. As the programme will be conducted in English, a basic English language proficiency is required.
  3. High Potential & Drive
    We are looking for applicants who:
      • Exhibit a high level of Curiosity & Grit
      • Are independent and takes ownership of their own learning
      • Are Risk-Takers and Challenge-Seekers
      • Are Excited about Collaboration and Problem-Solving
Applicants must be able to commit to 3 physical Conferences.
All costs will be waived for all participants.

  2. Checkpoint Conference - 16-18 August 2024
  3. Finale Conference - 27-29 September 2024
Application Process
Please follow these steps:
  1. Please prepare a PDF copy of your latest academic results (maximum 10MB) and verify your family income before starting this application form. You will require this information when answering the form, and the FutureReady team may further contact you for proof of income.
  2. Check "Save my progress and resume later" at the top of this page to be able to save your progress. The organisers are not liable for unsaved forms.
  3. This programme will be fully conducted in English and the form must be completed in English.
  4. Fill up this application form. The form will ask for your personal details, family and financial background.
  5. Applicants will also be asked to answer two essay questions. Both questions will require written answers.
  6. Once the application form has been submitted, it will be processed by the Selection team. We may reach out via the contact information in your application if we need clarification on any details.
We will contact successful applicants to share further details about the programme and next steps.
In completing the next few pages, please answer:
  • CAREFULLY and in complete sentences. We will shortlist students based on the quality of your responses.
  • HONESTLY: Applications that are found to be dishonest will be disqualified.
  • PERSONALLY: We want to hear about your story, your motivations and your experiences, so the core of your answers should not come from generative AI, but from you!
