Outdoor Explorers for All 2024

Thank you for your interest in the 2024 Outdoor Explorers for All (OEA) Program at our Puget Sound Chapter.

Due to limited participant spots,* we ask that you please complete the following form to indicate your interest and commitment to participate in this multi-event, free program for the entire duration.**

Your family will be notified in mid to late April if you are selected. You may receive gear and activity materials to enhance your experience throughout the program, including activity kits, informational content, and assistance to eliminate other potential barriers to participation.

*While Blue Star Families does not have the funds to support unlimited participation in the program, we will do our best to ensure some upcoming events are open to those who are interested.

**Participants are strongly encouraged to commit to attending six outdoor recreational experiences between March and August 2024, held on weekends throughout the he program timeframe. Active participation in all experiences is essential for a constructive experience. We do understand that unforeseen circumstances may come up so please communicate that to our team in a timely manner. We appreciate your commitment to fostering a collaborative environment. Also, additional experiences with local partners will be shared throughout the program, but these will be optional.

This program is designed to introduce families to outdoors opportunities to connect with each each other and the community through outdoor activities. Most activities are designed for participants at a beginner level.

This is a grant-funded program which begins in March 2024 and runs through August 2024. There is one virtual and five in-person events that your family will be asked to participate in on alternating Saturdays.
I understand spots are limited, and not all interested families will be chosen. If my family is selected to participate in this program, we commit to participating to our fullest ability.
