SELF collects social security numbers solely for the purpose of obtaining the applicant’s credit reports used in evaluating their financial standing and eligibility for a SELF loan. Therefore, requesting security numbers for this purpose is permitted as provided in Section 119.071(5)a 2.a and 6.b, Florida Statues.
