Who will be facilitating the Circles sessions and discussions?
Agreement and Consent
LiveDifferent Peer Mentorship Curriculum is a youth leadership and character development program that is aligned with LiveDifferent’s mission of empowering and engaging youth to live a lifestyle of compassion and service. The multi-session program is flexible in its format and can be delivered within a range of environments, including schools, sports clubs, faith institutions and community organizations.

Preamble

This agreement outlines the respective responsibilities of the participating school or organization for this program. 

Responsibilities of the participating school or organization:

The participating school or organization will be responsible for:

  1. Appointing a liaison who will be responsible for coordinating the program within the school/organization. 
  2. Selecting the program facilitators (that is, Students, Youth Leaders, Volunteers, Mentors, or Teachers, etc.). This entails determining who will be suitable for the role and the program and confirming their involvement;
  3. Determining how the LiveDifferent Circles curriculum will unfold in their organization.
  4. Utilize training videos/materials and deliver the program without substantive changes to the program curriculum;
  5. Providing final program statistics (eg. how many youth participated in the program, etc.)
  6. Conducting a post-program survey, and distributing a post-program survey to program participants.
  7. Ensuring that emotional supports are available for participants who may need it;
  8. Any disclosures requiring reporting to police or child welfare will be managed by the purchasing school or organization;

LiveDifferent will be responsible for:
  1. Providing the following resources:
    • access to Circles’ video resources and materials
    • supporting printed material
    • options for the Compassion Project
    • evaluation materials

Intellectual property and ownership

The participating school or organization acknowledges that the program, LiveDifferent Circles Peer Mentorship Curriculum, is the intellectual property of LiveDifferent, and agrees to not share or distribute the curriculum without permission (please refer people to sign up on our website instead). The participating school or organization also acknowledges that any changes or alterations to the program must be done either in consultation with LiveDifferent or must be done by LiveDifferent.
