2nd Annual Hunger Fighter San Diego Award

We are now accepting nominations!

This is your chance to nominate a partner, a coworker or yourself for the amazing work being done to fight nutrition insecurity in San Diego County.

Hunger Fighter San Diego Award: This individual goes above and beyond to create equitable access to food assistance in San Diego County; making it easier for residents to get 3 nutritious meals a day.

Criteria

Can be self-nominated, may submit up to 3 nominations
Must serve residents of San Diego County
Nominations must be submitted by 5pm PST, Friday, October 17th, 2025

All qualified nominees will be evaluated by San Diego Hunger Coalition staff to determine a pool of finalists. Those finalists will be voted upon by our Board of Directors and participating organizations on our Hunger Free San Diego Advisory Board. There will be one individual winner honored at the Networking Reception following our 7th Annual State of Hunger event on Monday, November 17th.
