This questionnaire prior to the Anti Racism Assessment is to gauge what your capacity is for this big project. When started, you will have about
2 weeks to finish the assessment. After, MENTOR Washington (MW) will summarize your data to give you an overview of the results. Once that is done, you will then get the chance to meet once every other month with other orgs working on their anti racism work for eight months. Below is brief outline of what the timeline could look like:
- Month 1: Introduce work to staff & board in order gain buy in for project
- Month 2:
Distribute assessment to staff & board electronically. A link to the assessment will be provided by MW for you to share.
- Month 2.5: MW
collates/combines results
- Month 3: Your results shared with you & your organization. Initial discussion begins around prioritizing areas of priority
- Month 4: Join
Community of Practice (This would be key representatives of each organization)
- Month 5-12:
Sharing resources, tools & best practices. Change management implementation.
*While this project takes a year anti-racism work should always be happening at your organization after this project as you always want to check in on progress, check what is sustainable, and most importantly change things based on new found information that will come after this.*
