Does networking intimidate you? Are you an introvert? Are you not sure how to effectively showcase your role or organization?
Networking plays an essential part in the nonprofit world, but it does not come easily to everyone. Feeling as if you’re missing out on connections that could enrich your organization or career can make networking feel even more daunting. Luckily, networking, like any skill, can be developed.
This half-day workshop will foster a dynamic and welcoming environment and offer activities designed to boost your networking confidence. As we delve into essential concepts of presence, you will have the opportunity to expand your comfort zone through self-reflection and improvisational exercises. You will prepare and practice talking points about your interests, passions, and hobbies—excellent conversation starters for networking scenarios! Additionally, we will assist you in identifying and workshopping key sound bites about yourself and your career that you would like to have ready for the right moments.
