Overview

The following nomination form is a tool that guides Slow Food Farms Accelerators in establishing a dialogue with farmers while collecting the necessary information to assess their alignment with the principles outlined in the Slow Food Farm handbook. The goal is to support the transition to good, clean, and fair farms and food systems.

Eligibility Limitations (Red Flags)

Before starting, please inform us if you engage in any of the following practices or are experiencing challenges related to any of these issues.

High level of specialization, including monoculture. Use of GMOs or New Genomic Techniques. Use of synthetic agrochemicals. Out-of-soil crops and/or heated/cooled greenhouses. Commercialization of food primarily for export markets. Significant environmental pollution. Use of growth-promoting hormones in animal farming Violation of human rights or animal welfare. None of the above
