The STEAM Education Leadership Workshop Series is designed for k12 STEM educators eager to explore innovative ways to transform students' learning experience by delivering high-quality STEM education that cultivates the next generation of leaders and problem-solvers. The series equips educators with the mindset, knowledge, and skills to develop high-impact teaching resources that not only deliver robust STEM education but also guide students in becoming leaders who use STEM to solve critical local and global challenges while preparing them for success in future careers in an increasingly dynamic world. Throughout the workshop series, participants will develop innovative teaching resources and a curated selection of these resources will be showcased in the Future of Work section of the Learning and Insights Hub and featured in Teach For All's section of Harvard University's science education platform, LabXchange.

Audience: STEM teachers, teacher coaches, and education professionals who train and support STEM educators.

Objectives:
  • Explore and Reflect on STEAM Teaching Explore the broader role of STEAM education and its impact on fostering leadership, problem-solving, and future career readiness. This sets a strong foundation for understanding the purpose behind STEAM education.
  • Connect and Collaborate with K-12 STEAM Educators Build connections with like-minded educators, exchange insights, strategies, and best practices that enhance STEAM teaching practices by incorporating student leadership and future career readiness.
  • Develop Leadership-Oriented Teaching Resources Gain practical skills to design and deliver high-impact STEAM lessons and resources tailored to prepare students to tackle local and global challenges while equipping them for future STEM careers.
