4:15pm: Offer Bhog to Radha Rani in temple prayer hall

7:00pm: Mandatory orientation for Kids and Teens ages 7-17. They must attend the entire week program.

New Year's chanting (two sessions):

About Children
Children

  • Children ages 7-17 are required to attend the ENTIRE week to be admitted to the Camp program. A mandatory orientation is at 7:00 pm on December 25th. Camp classes conclude on December 30th. Any child ages 7-17 arriving after 7:00 pm on December 25th or leaving before December 30th will not be enrolled in the Camp program. This restriction does not apply to kids aged 3-6, or to adults.
  • Supervision of Children: All children aged 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during their entire stay at Radha Madhav Dham – this includes Day Campers. Guardianship can be delegated to a direct relative over the age of 25.
Teenagers (Age 14-17)
  • If you are registering with a teen between the ages of 14 and 17, your registration will go through a review by a pracharak before it is confirmed. You may submit the request without paying the deposit, though we will get back to you about their participation and accommodation. Please do not make any travel plans until your registration is confirmed.

Accommodations
Room Assignment Rules:
  1. Room Assignments will begin two weeks before the start of the Shivir/Camp. If you want any clarification before booking your flights, please email reservations@radhamadhavdham.org.
  2. Participant families with small children & senior citizens with longer stay, will have priority for private rooms.
  3. Single participants and participants attending the Shivir/Camp for a few days will not be able to get private rooms. They will be requested to share accommodation in rooms or in dorms.
  4. Please register for intended duration only, Accommodation charges will be calculated based on registration details.

Accommodation Rules:

  1. Check-in time is after 3 PM and check-out time is before 1 PM.
  2. Meal timings: Please check the intensive schedule for meal timings.
  3. Except during meal timings, the kitchen will be closed. Tea and coffee are available in the dining hall.
  4. All meals and drinks are to be eaten in the Dining Hall, Snack Stand, or at the many outdoor picnic tables, and not taken to the rooms.
  5. Guests will help to maintain the cleanliness of the Radha Madhav Dham grounds and guest rooms (keep rooms free of trash, odors and stains).
  6. Non-vegetarian food, alcohol, smoking, illicit drugs or intoxication are not permitted anywhere on the ashram ground.
  7. Pets are not permitted on the ashram grounds.


Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement

This Waiver of Liability (the “Waiver”) is executed in favor of JKP Radha Madhav Dham (“RMD”), a
nonprofit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the Texas, RMD., and both of their
respective directors, board members, employees, staff, preachers, agents, shareholders, affiliates,
successors and assigns (collectively, “RMD”also). The undersigned (“I”) is either attending an event at
RMD for which I am receiving tangible or intangible benefits and or desire to work as a volunteer for
RMD and engage in the activities related to being a volunteer for a work project. I understand the
nature of such volunteer work and activities. In consideration for participating as a volunteer at RMD
related activity site, I hereby freely and voluntarily, without duress, execute this Agreement under the
following terms:

1. Waiver and Release 
I release and forever discharge and hold harmless RMD and their respective
directors, board members, employees, staff, preachers, agents, shareholders, affiliates, successors
and assigns from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind which arise from my
volunteer work with RMD.
I understand that this Waiver and Release discharges RMD from any liability or claim that I may have
against RMD with respect to bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death, or property damage that may
result from my activities and time spent at RMD site.
I understand that RMD does not assume any responsibility for or obligation to provide financial assistance or other assistance to me, including but not limited to medical, health or disability insurance, in the event of injury, illness, death or property damage.

2. Insurance
I understand that I expressly waive any such claim for compensation or liability on the part of RMD beyond what may be offered voluntarily and freely by a representative of RMD, in its sole discretion, in the event of such injury or medical expense. I agree that the offer of payment for injury or medical expense by RMD cannot be used to establish liability for the event.

3. Medical Treatment
I release RMD from any claim which arises on account of any first-aid treatment or other medical services rendered to me in connection with an emergency during my time with RMD.

4. Assumptions of the Risk and Indemnification
I assume the risk of injury or harm in these activities and release RMD from all liability for injury, illness, death, or property damage resulting from my activities and my time at the RMD site. If I, or anyone on my behalf makes a claim against the RMD or JKP Foundation, Inc. related to my volunteer activities and/or time at RMD I agree to indemnify, save and hold harmless RMD from any claim, including without limitation, loss, liability, damage or cost which may occur as a result of any such claim.

5. Photographic Release
I grant and convey unto Radha Madhav Dham all right, title, and interest in any and all photographic images and video or audio recordings made by RMD during my time at RMD, including, but not limited to, any royalties, proceeds, or other benefits derived from such photographs or recordings. If you do not agree to the photographic release, you must then send an email stating the same to waivers@radhamadhavdham.org within 5 days of signing this release.

6. Behavior
I understand that my behavior at RMD must comply with all laws, rules and regulations of Austin, Texas and the United States of America.

7. Other
I agree that this Waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Texas, and that this Waiver shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. I agree that in the event that any clause or provision of this Waiver shall invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such clause or provision shall not otherwise affect the remaining provisions of this Release which shall continue to be enforceable.

THIS IS A VOLUNTARY RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS BY YOU. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING.
I have read this Release, Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement, and
understand that I have given up substantial rights by agreeing it freely and
voluntarily.

Registration Deposit
  • The Register and Pay Deposit button at the bottom of the registration form will redirect you to the PayPal payment system to pay the NON-REFUNDABLE deposit "US $50 Room Rent per person (or $20 per Day Camper)" to reserve your room. This registration deposit is non-refundable, which means it will not be returned if you cancel and don’t attend the Shivir/Camp. When you do attend the Shivir/Camp, it will be credited towards your total balance.
  • If you have teens between the ages of 14 and 17, you may submit the request without paying the deposit, though we will get back to you about their participation, accommodation and deposit details.
  • The room will not be reserved unless the deposit is paid.
