Share the love this holiday season with the
Great Chum Cookie Bake-off!
First Covenant Church
2101 West Second Street
First Covenant invites you to their kitchen at 10 AM on December 14th
to make holiday cookies to share at the
Warming Center, St. Francis Apartments, or the Homeless Memorial Vigil
during the holiday season!

For most of us, December is a time to celebrate the holidays with family and friends around a table laden with good food. For folks staying at the Warming Center, it is a time of trying to find food and a warm place to spend the day.  St. Francis Apartments offers housing to people who are over 55 and have a history of chronic homelessness, and many of them have no family or friends nearby.  Our efforts bring reminders of home and love.

This shift begins at 10 AM, and will meet in the dining hall of First Covenant to add sprinkles and decorations to unbaked cut out cookies, Hershey's Kisses to partially baked cookies, and frosting to baked cookies. This is a great activity for ages able to maintain clean hands and germ control, as well as the ability to keep most of the sprinkles on top of the cookies! This shift is a great fit for multi-generational friends/families, or just the young at heart. Who doesn't like decorating cookies!
