Attend a RootedHomes Information Session about our Homeownership Program and upcoming community. 


Gather Important documents such as: Paystubs and all income sources, bank account balances, other assets and current debt.

For this application, we require that you talk to a lender to get pre-qualified as part of the application process. If you haven't already taken this step, here's a list of our pre approved lenders.

Down Payment Assistance Program

Please note: If opting in please submit a pre-approval amount for $240,000 for the two-bedroom homes, $275,000 for the three-bedroom and $380,000 for the Farmhouse.
Closing Costs
Closing Costs are the biggest cost of purchasing a home. Applicants must submit documentation of 1% of the affordable sales price available for earnest money, closing costs and home inspections. Please note closing costs may exceed this amount and selected homebuyers will be responsible for those costs by using savings, a matched savings program, or a gift. A lender will provide you with an estimate of closing costs during pre-approval but they are estimated to be around $10,000.
