Personal Intent Essay responding to the prompt: How have you demonstrated, or struggled with, compassion, integrity, excellence, and/or inclusion & diversity? (500-1000 words)

Two Letters of Recommendation: Recommendations should come from non-family members (250-500 words each)

Personal Intent Essay Topic: How have you demonstrated, or struggled with, compassion, integrity, excellence, and/or inclusion & diversity? (500-1000 words)

Two letters (250-500 words each) of recommendation from non-family members. Each letter should provide information about your background, leadership skills, and potential areas for growth. Letters may be emailed to rchakraborty@pobs.org and must include the applicant's name and merit award in the subject line. Be sure these arrive by March 9th, 2026.

After your information is received, our Merit Award Selection Committee will review your materials and invite you to an interview session. Decisions will be made and selected students will be informed shortly after.

Please note that if you are selected to participate on the expedition after your interview, a $100 application fee will be required when you submit your medical and liability forms with your course application.
