Video Submissions

Pittsburgh, McKees Rocks – Gemini Theater is accepting video audition submissions for its production of Jane’s Jungle Adventure, an original production written by Lani Cerveris Catladi and Jill Jeffrey. Actors should prepare a verse and chorus of an up-tempo song and cold-reading, sides available:

Videos can be uploaded to a secure link via the online audition form or actors may share via YouTube, Vimeo, or other online video app. Contracts for adult (18+) actors if cast. Student actors (Age 10+) are invited to audition for this production. This show includes light dancing, and some animal costumes require flexible movement. Directed by CJ Cloughery. Video submissions will be accepted through February 28th. Please include your full name in your filename and upload to Audition Submissions.

Gemini will also hold one in-person audition night on Saturday, March 8 from 12:00pm - 3:00pm

Please list ALL conflicts you will have April 1 through May 3, 2025. Please note: Conflicts during technical rehearsal week are HIGHLY discouraged and may result in not being cast. PERFORMANCES are Saturdays at 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm. Sundays at 1:00 pm You can not have conflicts on performance days.

Preparation and Submittal

Audition Preparation Reminders

You should prepare a VERSE AND CHORUS/REFRAIN of an upbeat song from a contemporary musical OR musician/band. A Capella is acceptable if video quality is affected by music tracks.

Sides are provided on our website audition page. The director is requesting every actor record a reading of each side twice, changing roles for each read. Be creative - Gemini Theater shows are interactive and often have "large" character personalities - having fun with your cold reading is the best way to show us your amazing talents!
