Discover the Mountain Academy Difference: Natural Shelter Building

Who? 3rd-8th Grade. Free and open to the public!


Join us for an afternoon of hands-on discovery in the outdoors! At this Discover the Difference event, students in grades 3–7 are invited to explore our outdoor classrooms, learn basic survival skills, and work together to build natural shelters using natural materials. Guided by Mountain Academy educators, this engaging experience allows students to get creative, collaborate, and connect with the environment, all while having fun outside.


Parents are welcome to stay and participate in the experience. We’d love to have you join the journey!
