PeaceTogether - A Peaceful Pen Pal Art Activity

We invite all Peaceful Pen Pal Project youth to participate in our PeaceTogether art activity!

Have your child complete their respective half of the peace symbol and upload it here along with your child's first name, city and state.

Once your child's pen pal submits their half of the peace symbol, we will combine their pictures and display their composite image on our Peaceful Pen Pals page.

Please upload a photo of your child holding their colored / decorated half of the peace symbol using this Photo Guidelines Checklist. You may upload more than one photo.

*** PLEASE NOTE: taking the picture as instructed by the guidelines is important in order for the composite image to come out as intended. We will crop the image at the center line of the peace symbol, so your child needs to hold the LEFT side of the peace symbol to the LEFT side of their body OR the RIGHT side of the peace symbol to the RIGHT side of their body so that we do not cut off their face when we crop the image. Please leave room above their head as well as on each side. THANK YOU! ***

Pen pals are welcome to decorate 2 printouts of their half of the peace symbol and mail one to their pen pal so that each pen pal has their own physical (and whole) PeaceTogether symbol. If both pen pals upload photos of themselves holding their half of the peace symbol to this form, they will be able to download the digital composite image that we display on our gallery page to celebrate their shared connection!
