Tutor Survey

We know you're busy, so we'll keep this brief. Before you dive in, we just want to say thank you.

You gave up your time this year to tutor a young person who needed you. By being a tutor you are helping to fight the injustice that some children have access to a tutor and some don't. It takes patience, consistency and a genuine belief that showing up for someone else matters.

This survey is your chance to reflect on your year. It's about speaking your truth and owning your voice and your role in our charity. We want to hear how it really was, the incredible moments, the tricky bits, all of it. We promise to listen carefully and to act on your feedback so that young people in the North are better served by Tutor Trust.

As a thank you for your time we will include you in our free monthly prize draw to win a £25 voucher.

So please be honest, take your time, and know that we're genuinely glad you're here. We hope by the end of this survey you feel as good about what you've achieved this year as we do.

Working with Tutor Trust

First of all, we want to know what it was like to be a tutor with Tutor Trust this year, whether you worked on one assignment or several. Tell us about the highs, the lows, and everything in between. This is your opportunity to reflect on all the great work you have done this year and the impact you have had on the lives of young people across the North.

Starting an assignment

We know that it can be daunting starting your first - or a new - tuition assignment. These questions help us to understand how helpful our systems are when you start an assignment.

We will use your answers to see if there's anything more we can do to support our tutors to get all of our assignments off to the best possible start.

Quality monitoring

Our Quality and Impact managers provide quality assurance for our programmes to maximise the positive impact on our pupils, analysing data from our programmes to understand the effect we are having and to drive continuous improvement in all that we do.

We use your answers to these questions to find out if there are any updates or efficiencies we can make to our processes.

Done! And honestly, thank you. Not just for filling this in but for the time and hard work you've put into tutoring this year.

It's easy to underestimate the difference a consistent, caring adult makes to a young person. Pupils, teachers, carers and parents tell us that your work makes a differenceYou were part of something that made a real change this year, and you helped to redress the balance of educational inequality in the UK.

Tutor Trust only works because people like you choose to give their time to it. We know it's not always easy, and we know life is busy, so the fact that you showed up, week after week, genuinely means everything to us.

Thank you.
