2025 TWDP Tech Information Session Registration

Roundabout Theatre Company's Theatrical Workforce Development Program: Tech aims to break down the barriers that prevent young adults from joining the technical theater industry and empower a diverse new generation of theatre professionals. Participants are not required to have a background in theater arts. 


This form is for the Technical program (TWDP Tech.) 


Applicants should be current NYC residents with a high school diploma or equivalent. The program is best suited for applicants 18-24 years old. They should also be legally eligible to work in the U.S. Additional requirements include an ability to: Lift up to 50 lbs.; Work in dark spaces with loud noises; stand for up to two hours at a time; be comfortable traveling throughout the 5 boroughs. People of color, women, and LGBTQ+ individuals are strongly encouraged to apply.

At the information session, you will get more details about the program, have an opportunity to meet with current Fellows, and participate in a sample training class. Please note that attending an information session is a required first step in the application process. Our next group of participants, Cohort 8, begins in September 2025. 


Attending an information session is a mandatory part of the application process for each cohort.
