Immediately following the events of October
7th and for a year and three months, Northern Israel was threatened
and attacked by Hezbollah organization from Lebanon. A significant portion of
the residents were evacuated, and many settlements were severely damaged
In February 2025, a ceasefire agreement was
signed, and a return to the North became possible. Residents are beginning to
return and rebuild their lives
In the exhibition “Coming Home – Looking
North and to its Rebirth” we chose to bring photos that tell an optimistic
story, images that froze moments in time containing hope and joy
Most of the photos were taken by
photographers who are residents of the North
