BKCM conducts a biannual survey, administered to BKCM's Students/Families, our Board of Trustees, our Staff and our Faculty, to gather important information about our community as a whole, including demographic, sentiment, volunteer, and development information.

Individual survey information is confidential. The information we gathered when we last conducted this survey in 2023-2024 provided BKCM with a meaningful body of data from which we could analyze and draw insights. Fundraising and Volunteering

BKCM is a non-profit community music school. Every year, hundreds of BKCM families and community members give generously to ensure every New Yorker, regardless of age, income or level of ability, has access to high-quality music instruction and music therapy.

BKCM’s Board of Trustees is our governing body. Its members play a leading role in long-term strategic planning, spearheading community initiatives, and supporting our event and fundraising goals throughout the year. BKCM is also supported by an Advisory Council of community leaders and supporters.
