Thank you for your interest in the Fitch EMS Foundation and our scholarship program.

This year's scholarship applications open Feb. 15, 2025, and close at 11:59 p.m. CDT on Saturday, March 15.

Applicants may apply for up to three Scholarships or Fellowships, and one Membership or Certification Grant.

Scholarships & Fellowships

Ambulance Service Manager (ASM) Scholarship

Covers registration for a 14-week leadership development course for ambulance service managers, (combining two onsite weeks and online learning), and hotel accommodations for the onsite sessions.

Communication Center Manager (CCM) Scholarship

Covers registration for a 14-week leadership development course for communication center managers (combining two onsite weeks and online learning), and hotel accommodations for the onsite sessions.

Fitch Leadership Mentoring Scholarship

Covers a 6-part tailored mentoring program for EMS and Public Safety leaders led by Dr. Jay Fitch, focused on career advancement, personal growth, and deepening industry expertise.

Jack Stout EMS Fellowship, Endowed by FirstWatch

Includes attendance to ASM Fall 2025 or ASM Spring 2026, the 2025 Pinnacle EMS Leadership Forum, and leadership mentoring by industry experts.

James O. Page Legacy Scholarship, Endowed by Hartwell Medical

Provides a structured 6-part mentorship led by Dr. Jay Fitch and includes attendance at the 2025 Pinnacle EMS Leadership Forum.

Degree Continuation Grant

Offers a $1,000 stipend to support EMS/Public Safety leaders pursuing an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree.

Membership & Certification Grants

National EMS Management Association (NEMSMA) Membership

Provides 1-year NEMSMA membership fee waiver.

American College of Paramedic Executives (ACPE) Scholarship

Provides a one-time waiver of certification fees and a 1-year NEMSMA membership.

National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) Membership

Provides 1-year NAEMT membership fee waiver.
