Focal Point 2025 Travel Subsidy Request
for OLAM Partners and Members

OLAM HAS ALLOCATED ALL TRAVEL SUBSIDIES AT THIS TIME.

We are doing our best effort to fundraise for this purpose in order to be able to offer additional travel subsidies to our partners and members. Please complete this waitlist to be considered for a subsidy if funds become available.
If so, OLAM staff will contact you to let you know. Please do not follow up with OLAM staff about this waitlist.

If additional funds become available, priorities will be given to:
  • Partner organizations with a budget below $1 million
  • Individual members who have been fired, furloughed or put on administrative leave due to the US foreign aid policy changes.
In order to get a diverse representation of our partner organizations, we can only provide a travel subsidy for up to one person per partner organization. Before applying for a subsidy, please speak to your supervisor or the CEO of your organization to ensure that there aren't multiple applications from your organization.

All travel subsidies will be paid as reimbursements, following Focal Point. If you are in need of a travel subsidy, please complete this form and OLAM will respond to your request within a week of submission.

Subsidies may be used for economy class round-trip flights or trains and will not cover the costs of taxis, gas use in personal vehicles, cancellation fees, flight or train class upgrades, visas, or any other travel-related expenses.
TRAVELER INFORMATION

Travel subsidies are available only to staff of OLAM partner organizations and individual members. For a full list, visit our directory.

Individuals who are currently working in a field outside of international development and humanitarian aid, but have maintained OLAM membership in order to retain a foothold in our field, are ineligible to apply for these subsidies.

SUBSIDY INFORMATION

Please note: If approved, subsidies will likely range from $150-$1500, depending on geographic distance from the conference, stated dependence on subsidy, priority group, and remaining available funds.
