2025 Online BDD Conference:
Need-Based Scholarship

At the IOCDF, we are committed to keeping registration fees affordable, making our programming available to those who need our help the most. The Need-Based Online BDD Scholarship allows low-income individuals to attend the full, one-day virtual event at a 50% discounted rate.

We have 20 scholarships to award. Applications will be reviewed and awarded on a first come, first served basis. If you have any questions please contact the IOCDF Events team at conference@iocdf.org.

For the purposes of this scholarship, the IOCDF will define “need” based on those whose household income falls below the US Department of Health and Human Services’ Federal Poverty Guidelines, sometimes referred to as the “Federal Poverty Levels (FPL),” for the corresponding number of people in their household.  More information about these guidelines can be found at: aspe.hhs.gov/poverty-guidelines.

For those receiving SSI or SSDI, these guidelines have already been considered prior to you receiving these benefits and you will automatically qualify.  For those receiving other government benefits, your paperwork will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

Please upload a copy of one or more of the following:
  • A current 1040 tax form.
  • A current SSI/SSDI benefit statement.
  • Other current government document stating that you receive benefits or that indicate your income level.
Acceptable formats include .pdf, .jpg, .tiff, .doc, .docx. If you would prefer to email them, you can send them to conference@iocdf.org, Attn: Margaret Harrison. If you would prefer to fax the document(s), you can send them to (617) 973-5801, Attn: Margaret Harrison.

*** PLEASE NOTE: We are not longer accepting letters from therapists as a form of documentation for the scholarship. ***
