</p><p>In partnership with Eggi Magazine, we invite you to join us at the nexus of language and art for an intergenerational conversation about design—and a hands-on reimagining of the Girls Write Now Collaboratory.</p><p>
</p><p>The Collaboratory is our creative home: our national headquarters in the heart of New York City&#39;s Garment District and a virtual hub for members across the country. With a new long-term lease on our space and upgrades underway, it&#39;s in many ways a blank slate—and we want the creativity of our community to help shape what it becomes: a home for writers across generations and disciplines in the next era of Girls Write Now.</p><p>
</p><p>The evening brings designers, mentees, and members into the same room to meet one another, experience our community in action, and engage in a panel with design professionals exploring the through line of writing in the industry.</p><p>
</p><p>Then, as writers and designers, we&#39;ll collaborate in a charrette—a hands-on design session where small groups sketch and brainstorm ideas together—to help bring the Collaboratory&#39;s future to life.</p><p>
</p><p>Come lend your voice, your perspective, and your imagination. This is a chance to look a little closer at how the world is made—and to have a real hand in making ours.</p>
