Add Your Story to the “Youth Service in America” National Virtual Exhibition

As part of our celebration of America's Semiquincentennial (America250) on July 4, 2026, we're starting to collect stories that show the breadth and depth of "Youth Service in America". Launching as part of the celebration of GYSD 2025 and continuing through GYSD 2026, this online exhibition will feature stories of youth service of all kinds in all settings addressing all issues in all 50 states + DC + territories.

We'll collect an initial set of stories through the end of Youth Service Month 2025 (April 11 - May 11) and publish a story map around July 4, 2025 and will continue to add stories through July 4, 2026. Add the story of an individual youth leader, a group/class/club, a school/organization, or an entire community. Stories of youth volunteering & service, voting & civic engagement, and joining & leadership activities will all be accepted. Add your story and help us celebrate the power of "Youth Service in America" as we celebrate 250 years of our democracy and look ahead to the next 250 years!
