The GED/ HiSET are exams for people who didn’t finish high school, but want a high school equivalency diploma. The exams test for proficiency in four subjects, Math, reading, and writing, science, and social studies. To take the exam, you must be 16 or older, not be in high school, not already have a diploma, live in Massachusetts, and have a valid ID (driver’s license, passport, state ID).

The Citizenship Test is a two part test. 

Part 1: English Test. You must demonstrate that you can read, write, and speak basic English.

Part 2: Civics Test. You will verbally answer questions about the American government and history."
