What is FutureReady?

FutureReady is a programme that aims to help youth from underserved or challenging backgrounds thrive in today’s competitive graduate job market. A joint collaboration between Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman and Accenture Malaysia, FutureReady 5.0 is where you will get the chance to upskill yourself from ground zero in key areas vital to success in your future.

Launching in July 2025, FutureReady is a 3-month residential programme where you will undergo 5 fully-funded physical and virtual Conferences in Kuala Lumpur with access to specialised content, hands-on workshops, skills mentorship and case studies in teams of 4 participants from various states, universities and areas of study. At the end of the programme, you will undergo a final case study challenge, after which you will pitch your final solution to a panel of esteemed judges.

Upon graduating from the FutureReady programme, high-potential participants will gain access to potential future opportunities with Accenture Malaysia and Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman.

Commitments

Applicants must be able to commit to 3 physical Conferences and 2 virtual booster events.
All costs will be waived for all selected participants.

Application Process

Please follow these steps:

Please prepare a PDF copy of your latest academic results (maximum 10MB) and a PDF copy of a proof of income from each financially contributing household member (maximum 10MB) before starting this application form. You will require this information when answering the form, and the FutureReady team may further contact you for additional information.
Check "Save my progress and resume later" at the top of this page to be able to save your progress. The organisers are not liable for unsaved forms.
This programme will be fully conducted in English and the form must be completed in English.
Fill up this application form. The form will ask for your personal details, family and financial background.
Applicants will also be asked to answer two essay questions. Both questions will require written answers.
Once the application form has been submitted, it will be processed by the Selection team. We may reach out via the contact information in your application if we need clarification on any details.

We will contact successful shortlisted applicants for the next stage of interviews via email. If we are unable to reach you via email, we may do so by phone.

In completing the next few pages, please answer:

CAREFULLY and in complete sentences. We will shortlist students based on the quality of your responses and originality of thought.

There are two questions in this section, but you only need to answer 1 question.

Question 2a - Share with us a time where you had encountered a conflict/disagreement when working with others. In your answer, please explain what the conflict was, why it happened and the steps you took to resolve that conflict. Be as detailed as you can in 300 words.
