Come to the Table (CTTT) Technical Assistance Program

Thank you for your interest in receiving technical assistance through Come to the Table. This program supports churches and faith communities as they deepen or launch ministries that build a more just, sustainable, and local food system. This application helps us learn about your context, your goals, and how we can walk alongside you. This Technical Assistance (TA) program is a direct expression of Come to the Table’s mission to empower faith communities to participate in the creation of a just food system through collaboration, capacity building, and advocacy. By offering flexible, responsive, and tailored support to churches and faith communities across North Carolina, the TA program helps congregations move beyond charity toward deeper engagement with the root causes of hunger and injustice. Whether through building relationships with local farmers, advocating for systemic change, or transforming their food ministries to prioritize dignity and sustainability, each participating church is equipped to become an active agent of justice in their community.
The TA program exists to help churches:
  • Expand their food ministries in ways that are sustainable, just, and rooted in relationship
  • Receive personalized support instead of navigating rigid grant requirements
  • Transition from charity-based models to systems rooted in justice and mutual care
  • Connect with the broader work of RAFI and Come to the Table—including other churches, farmers, and advocates
This program is designed for faith communities in North Carolina that:
  • Are currently engaged in food ministry or planning to start one
  • Are committed to exploring how their ministry can promote food justice
  • Want to deepen their connection to local farmers, neighbors, and systems change
Please note: This program does not include funding, but offers hands-on support, training, and facilitation.

RAFI Staff will be in touch as soon as possible with each applicant. Please reach out to Jarred White at jarred@rafiusa.org or 919-548-4730 with any questions.
