CivicAction is accepting applications from organizations interested in hosting Youth CivicCorps volunteers for our next cohort.
Building on more than two decades of CivicAction's leadership in youth development, the Youth CivicCorps program equips young adults (18–30) with the training, coaching, networking, and real-world experience needed to step confidently into civic leadership.
Placement host organizations provide meaningful, hands-on volunteer experiences where participants can apply their skills while contributing to projects that strengthen affordability, inclusion, and community well-being across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA).

Which organizations are eligible for this program?
Youth CivicCorps welcomes placement host organizations from all sectors across the GTHA. Whether you're a startup, a private sector company, or a non-profit organization, Youth CivicCorps connects you with talented young leaders ready to make a meaningful contribution.
Successful placement hosts are organizations that are located whole or in part in the GTHA, have the capacity to manage a team of 3-5 volunteers, provide a safe and inclusive work environment, and commit to co-creating volunteer service placements with youth, ensuring that service placements being offered are meaningful to youth volunteers and to placement organizations. Co-creation will take place at a day-long, in-person symposium, prior to the commencement of the volunteer placements.
Please note, projects with a focus on fundraising and non-partisan political work are ineligible for this program.
