2025 Back to School Setup Volunteer Registration

Thank you for supporting teachers before their first day of school! Teachers only receive one paid day to set up their classrooms. Tons of volunteers are needed across 33 priority schools. All volunteer shifts are taking place on Friday, August 15th from either 9am-12pm or 1-4pm. Volunteers are encouraged to sign up for multiple shifts. Volunteer Liability Waiver

In connection with my voluntary involvement in activities undertaken I hereby agree, for myself, my heirs, assigns, executors and administrators to release and discharge to the fullest extent permitted by law the San Francisco Education Fund and the San Francisco Unified School District, their officers and directors, employees, agents and volunteers from all claims, demands, and actions for injuries sustained to my person and/or property as a result of my involvement in such activities. I agree to release and hold the parties harmless from any cause of action, claim or suit arising there from. I hereby attest that my attendance and involvement in such activities is voluntary, that I am participating at my own and sole risk, and that I have read, understand, and accept the terms and conditions of this release.

Media Release

The San Francisco Education Fund has my consent to take, edit, copy, exhibit, publish, distribute, or make use of any photograph, videotape, and/or audio recording made of me or in which I may be included in whole or part, in connection with my volunteering. I grant permission to the San Francisco Education Fund to use any such photograph, videotape, and/or audio recordings for any purpose in their discretion, including to increase public awareness of the San Francisco Education Fund through the use of mass media, displays, brochures, websites, or social media outlets. Additionally, by signing this document, I release and forever discharge the San Francisco Education Fund from any and all claims or liabilities of any kind which may arise from the use of my likeness. I acknowledge and agree that I will not receive any compensation in connection with any use of my likeness.
