South Shore Hike

September 12 - Van Sickle Bi-State Park

Enjoy a local favorite just a few miles from the TRTA Headquarters! We will meet at Van Sickle Bi-State Park at 9 A.M., and shuttle you to the start of our trek at the Kingsbury South Trailhead. We will hike for ~4 miles back to the Van Sickle Bi-State Park Trailhead. Most of this hike will be downhill: starting at about 7,900 ft. and descending to 6,500. You'll enjoy incredible views of Lake Tahoe from the south shore, and get to see Heavenly Mountain Resort in the summer! Profile Map
