CBAA is proud to partner with the Choice Energy to offer energy consultation services to community radio stations around Australia. This service is available community radio stations that are members of CBAA.
This service exists to help stations reduce their electricity consumption via commercial solar and procurement solutions, enabling them to become more efficient both financially and environmentally.
Process:
Station sends most recent bill > Choice Energy assesses bill > Station is provided with up to four outcomes:
- peace of mind (knowing there were no savings to be found)
- savings (knowing the same power coming through the same poles and wires can cost lest)
- reduced CO2 (knowing the power they use will be accredited as having the carbon offset)
- generation (knowing the power they generate and use with their solar is cheaper than buying it from the grid)
