This interest form is for IAM District 751 and W24 members who would like to enroll in the CNC Mill Course offered by the Machinists Institute.

Please note: Submitting this form does not guarantee placement. Registrants will be enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis. If space becomes available, you will be contacted by the Machinists Institute directly.

Course Description
Schedule and Location

The CNC Mill Course provides hands-on instruction in the setup and operation of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) milling machines. This course builds on the foundational skills gained in the Manual Mill Course and prepares students for entry-level CNC machining roles in advanced manufacturing environments.

Basic Skills Covered:

  • CAD/CAM Programing 
  • CNC Mill Setup
  • Tool Holding and Utilization
  • CNC Mill Feed Rate and Speed Adjustments
  • CNC Mill Operation
  • CNC Mill Hands-on Project

Prerequisite:
 
Participants must have successfully completed or challenged the Basic Mill course to be eligible for this course. 

Courses are offered in morning, evening, and Saturday formats to accommodate various work shifts. Final class times will be confirmed based on interest and availability.

Participants who earn a passing score will receive a certificate of completion
