BAYCAT's CSI (Career Success Intensive) is to train participants for careers in the media industry and provide hands-on experiences to apply for media roles.

Fall 2025: Media Teaching Artist

Created with early-career teaching artists in mind, BAYCAT's Fall 2025 CSI will give participants the necessary skills through online, self-paced modules. Participants will learn the fundamentals of youth development and curriculum design, utilizing anti-racist teaching strategies to develop an original media arts class or program. By the end of this asynchronous intensive, participants will:

• create a teaching portfolio complete with their teaching philosophy, lesson plans, and exemplars; and
• shadow BAYCAT instructors and demonstrate a proficiency in anti-racist teaching methods during an on-site observation with BAYCAT participants.
