SLOW FOOD FARMS – SHORT NOMINATION FORM

Overview

The following nomination form is a first step to identify potential Slow Food Farms. Once submitted, Slow Food Farm team will follow up to establish a dialogue with the farm and assess its alignment with the principles outlined in the Slow Food Farm Handbook.

This process aims to support the transition towards good, clean, and fair farms and food systems.

Eligibility Limitations (Red Flags)

Before starting, if you're aware, please inform us if the farm engages in any of the following practices or is experiencing challenges related to any of these issues.

High level of specialization, including monoculture. Use of GMOs or New Genomic Techniques. Use of synthetic agrochemicals. Out-of-soil crops and/or heated/cooled greenhouses. Commercialization of food primarily for export markets. Significant environmental pollution. Use of growth-promoting hormones in animal farming.Violation of human rights or animal welfare. None of the above.
