Please use the form below to register for some or all of the following options:- Day 1 - Programming for Professionals and YYA: Tuesday, August 19 from about 11:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Day 1 features separate programming for young people and professionals, to listen to and learn from each group. Please note that programming for YYA begins at 11:30 a.m., and programming for professionals begins at 3:00 p.m. If you are a professional who is not bringing/ traveling in with YYA, please arrive between 2:30 - 3:00 p.m.
- Mixer for Momentum - Professionals Only: Tuesday, August 19 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Join us after Day 1 programming for a special networking event! The mixer will feature food, drinks, fun activities, and the chance to build connections across systems. To register for the mixer only, please complete this form.
- Day 2 - Professionals Only: Wednesday, August 20 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (with 1-hour lunch provided). On Day 2, professionals will join for TNOYS' training Building Alliances to Prevent and End Youth Homelessness training, as well as facilitated conversations on improving services for young people experiencing or vulnerable to homelessness.
Description: Developed thanks to support from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), this event is part of ongoing work to build capacity for stronger, more coordinated systems of care for youth and young adults (YYA) experiencing or vulnerable to homelessness.
Who Should Attend?
We hope to convene a range of stakeholders, youth-serving professionals, youth, and young adults (YYA) from Dallas, Fort Worth, and surrounding communities! This includes those with lived and/or professional experience in all of TNOYS’ seven system areas: child welfare, health and behavioral health, justice, housing and homelessness services, survivor services and preventing/ addressing Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Youth (CSEY), education, and higher education/workforce. We encourage you to register and spread the word among your networks.
Youth and Young Adult Participation
Do you/ does your organization plan to bring YYA that have lived experience of systems-involvement to participate in Day 1 listening session and survey? Please use the form below to register YYA. Youth and young adults will be compensated for participating.
