CLTA General Fund
Donations made to the CLTA General Fund will be used to support CLTA's efforts in advocacy, webinars and for other expenses associated with administering our organization. COVID has hit us especially hard, and any donation you can make at this time is much appreciated.

CLTA Leadership Development Fund
Donations made to the CLTA Leadership Development Fund will be used to support CLTA's efforts to identify & build leadership capacity within our Language Educator community in order to carry out the mission & vision of CLTA. Any donation you can make at this time is much appreciated.

LangAbroD Grant
This scholarship is to help defray travel expenses for members who wish to improve their fluency in the language they teach by visiting a country where that language is spoken. The LangAbroD is a stand-alone grant. CLTA encourages teachers who apply for Study Abroad Grants to apply for LangAbroD Scholarship simultaneously. READ MORE

Memorial Scholarship Fund
This scholarship provides financial support to enable one or more members to travel abroad for the purpose of improving their competency and skills in language teaching and augmenting their knowledge of culture and language through travel and/or formal study. READ MORE.

Sidney Gorman Endowment Fund
This scholarship provides financial support to enable new teachers (who have been teaching for fewer than 5 years) to improve their competency and skills in language teaching and to augment their knowledge of culture and language through participation in CLTA’s annual statewide conference. READMORE

Sylvia Jones Legacy Fund
This scholarship provides financial support to one or more mid-career teachers who have been teaching languages between 10-20 years to attend the CLTA/CWLP Summer Seminar. READ MORE

Terms and Conditions
  1. Membership in CLTA is open to any world language supporter
  2. Membership is renewable yearly and is from July 1st through June 30th of the following year
  3. Membership is not transferable
  4. We do not offer organizational rates
  5. Please allow 7-10 days to update or create your membership record after payment is received
  6. Password for the Members Only page at clta.net will be sent when payment is recorded

Automatic Renewal of Membership
Automatic Renewal of Membership(s) is available only to credit card transactions. Please note that some affiliates fluctuate yearly in their membership dues). Your credit card will be charged once a year in July, August or September. You will receive a reminder by email one month before the charge occurs. Make sure that the email listed above is correct. To choose the month/day you prefer the charge to occur, or to cancel Automatic Renewal, send a request to membership@clta.net AND registrar@clta.net.

Make checks payable to CLTA  (Returned checks will be subjected to a $35 fee).
