Lansing Promise Transfer & LCC Guest Student Form

Transferring from One Lansing Promise Partner School to another Lansing Promise Partner School
The Lansing Promise scholarship is transferable among our five Promise Postsecondary Partner Schools: Lansing Community College (LCC), Michigan State University (MSU), Davenport University (DU), or The University of Olivet (UO), and Douglas J Aveda Institute. Students may begin at one partner school-- for example, starting at LCC to earn transferable credits, a degree, or a credential -- and then transfer to one of the four-year universities to continue working toward a bachelor's degree.

Promise scholars may use up to $10,000 at LLC.
Upon transferring, they may be eligible for up to an additional $10,000 at their new college or university. The $10,000 is divided among 4 semesters at $2,500 each semester.

Taking Classes at Lansing Community College as a Guest Student Students who are Promise eligible and attending a non-Promise college or university may still use their Lansing Promise Scholarship to attend LCC classes as a guest student to earn additional transferable credits. Lansing Promise will cover tuition, books, and all course fees for classes while attending as a LCC guest student. For financial aid purposes, do NOT change your FAFSA to LCC, keep it at your primary college or university.
