Internship Terms & Conditions

Before submitting your application, please review the terms of our internship program:

1. Voluntary, Unpaid Position

This is a voluntary, unpaid internship opportunity. It is designed to provide meaningful experience, skill development, and service learning—not financial compensation.

2. Importance of Communication

Clear and timely communication is essential. Interns are expected to be responsive, proactive, and respectful in all interactions with the Kids for Peace team and fellow interns.

If we are unable to reach you after two email attempts and one phone call, we will contact your internship advisor to ensure you’re okay and to confirm your status in the program.

Please kindly communicate with us if you are unavailable, sick, experiencing challenges, or have other commitments that may interfere with your participation. We understand that life happens, and we always lead with trust, empathy, and understanding.

3. Code of Conduct

As a Kids for Peace intern, you represent our mission and values. You agree to:

  • Promote peace, kindness, and global citizenship

  • Treat all individuals with dignity and respect

  • Be punctual, responsible, and engaged

  • Maintain professionalism in all tasks and communications

  • Follow all instructions and seek support when needed

4. Anti-Fraud & Scam Protection

Kids for Peace will NEVER ask interns to:

  • Purchase anything using personal funds

  • Provide financial information

  • Share personal logins or passwords

We communicate only through official Kids for Peace email addresses and occasional text messages. If anything feels suspicious or unclear:

5. Best Practices for a Successful Internship

  • Check your email regularly
