Join Temple Israel's Racial Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Tikkun Central Justice Initiatives for a transformative Civil Rights Trip to the American South, November 7-11 2025. We will fly into and out of Atlanta and travel by bus through Alabama exploring a wide variety of important Civil Rights sites, and reflect on the complexities of the Jewish experience of this era. We will hear directly from civil rights activists along the way and travel with a personal guide whose knowledge and experience will enrich our journey. This trip will expand our knowledge about the civil rights movement, foster closer connections with community members, and inspire action to uphold democracy and equity for all.

Partially subsidized by our Social Justice Department, the costs of the trip is $1,250 per person for double occupancy and $1,750 for single occupancy. $500 non-refundable deposit is due upon registration.
