This opportunity is part of the Musicians Mentoring in Classrooms (MMC) program.
Students in Grades 7-12 can volunteer to be put on a list to help with events and programs throughout the year.
Volunteer service hours will be recorded and reported to be sent to schools or other organizations that ask for hours to be tracked.
Volunteer positions include helping set up chairs and rooms for recitals, helping serve snacks during recitals, helping coordinate classes of younger students, helping with audio/video technology setups, and much more.
Those on the list will be contacted a few weeks before the event and asked if they are available to help, with specific details about the tasks involved.
This is a one-time commitment, so if you need a few volunteer service hours, you can agree to do one event that you are available for.
