Registration Information
The following departments have special sessions available.

If you choose a special session, you'll get extra opportunities to connect with these departments.
Military-connected special session
  • If you are an active duty service member, veteran, or family member, we encourage you to select this special session.  Military and Veteran Student Services will be present.

MSC/IRSC/Pride Center/TRIO special session
  • The Multicultural Student Center (MSC) specifically works to uplift students who identify as Black, African American, Indigenous, Native American, Hispanic, Latine/x/a/o, Asian, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern, North African, multiracial, or mixed heritage; LGBTQIAS+ students; students who practice marginalized religions and international students.
  • The Indigenous and Rural Student Center (IRSC) is committed to centering and supporting Alaska Native, Indigenous, Native American, and rural students through programming and resources that foster a sense of community and belonging. The IRSC offers culturally-grounded support throughout students' college experience.
  • The Pride Center provides programs, services, support, and events for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual and two-spirit members of the UAA community. The Pride Center is a visible place for all members of the UAA community to explore gender identity and sexual orientation in a non-judgmental atmosphere.
  • TRIO Student Support Services (TRIO SSS) offers support to students with limited income, whose parent(s) or guardian(s) have not earned a baccalaureate degree, and/or who experience a documented disability. The goal of TRIO SSS is to help students to pay for college, pass their courses, and earn their degree. Each year, TRIO SSS supports 160 participating students to navigate through to graduation. There is no cost for eligible students accepted into the program.
You are welcome to attend any of the open orientation sessions.

All session times are listed in the Alaska Time Zone.
