Where would you say you are on your own understanding of race?

I recognize that there is racial difference but have not really thought much about how those differences impact people differently in our society. I recognize that there is racial difference and have noticed how those differences impact a person’s experiences, outcomes, and opportunities in our society. I recognize racial differences and believe that they significantly influence a person’s experiences, outcomes, and opportunities in our society.

Where would you say you are on your own understanding of racism?

I don’t know very much about racism and how it influences our society. I have read some articles/a book(s)/listened to a podcast or watched some videos about racism and how it impacts structures and institutions in our society, but I still have a lot to learn. I have done extensive research on racism (including items listed in option 2, academic courses, workshops and seminars) and feel confident in my knowledge of the ways that it influences structures and institutions in our society, I have done extensive research on racism (including items listed in option 2, academic courses, workshops and seminars) and feel confident in my knowledge of the ways that it influences structures and institutions in our society AND have begun to unpack how Racism informs my perspective, action and decision
