join your neighbors for a movie and an open conversation about homelessness

Under the Bridge:
The Criminalization of Homelessness

3-5 PM Sunday, September 28th
Gloria Dei Lutheran Church
219 North 6th Avenue East

Homelessness touches every part of our community —

....from public health and safety to the availability of affordable housing, and even the long-term value and stability of our neighborhoods. It’s not just a “big city” problem, nor one for government alone to solve. It’s a shared challenge, and together, we can work toward compassionate, practical solutions to make sure every Minnesotan has a place to call home.

We invite you to join your neighbors to view a documentary about homelessness, followed by an open conversation about our concerns and potential solutions in Duluth. This will be a chance to:

  • Learn more about the root causes and local realities

  • Share your concerns and ideas in a respectful space

  • Explore ways we can take action together — as individuals, organizations, and as a united community

When: Sunday, September 28th from 3-5 PM
Where: Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 219 North 6th Avenue East

Your voice matters. By coming together, we can help shape a healthier, safer, and more inclusive community for everyone — while protecting the stability and wellbeing of our neighborhoods.

Let’s work together to ensure that compassion, practicality, and shared responsibility guide our path forward.
